Confirm cash payment & understand time limits

Why a confirmation?

For cash and card-on-site orders, the guest first confirms via a link (or WhatsApp) that the order applies. Only then do you accept it. This way you avoid orders that nobody picks up.

The time limits (cash/card on site)

  • If the guest does not confirm, they are reminded after 10 minutes.
  • If confirmation still does not arrive, the order is automatically cancelled after 20 minutes.
  • After the guest's confirmation, you have up to 45 minutes to accept it – otherwise it is automatically cancelled. The signal becomes more prominent after 5 minutes.

Prepaid online orders are never automatically cancelled.

Your options with an unconfirmed order

  • “Have confirmed via WhatsApp” / “Remind customer” – for this you need a phone number and the confirmation link.
  • “Manually confirmed” – you confirm on the guest's behalf and accept the order.
  • Cancel unconfirmed – the order moves (recoverably) to the archive.
