Online in a few days: from registration to the first order

The setup runs as a guided path: you enter the mandatory details of your business first – no password, no payment details – confirm your e-mail address and phone number with a code, and then work through the stations for logo, hours, delivery prices and review. After that the system builds your website automatically, you photograph or type in your menu, and at the end the order link, the QR code and the app login details are ready. Every step is saved: you can stop and continue through your personal link.

Step 1: one form, no password

You start on the Ihr Betrieb screen with the mandatory details of your business: name, owner, address, phone number and e-mail address. For the WhatsApp number and for the e-mail address of your login you can reuse the same entries. You confirm the terms and the privacy notice with a tick and click Weiter; you do not set a password, and payment details are not required. Your personal link: start now, continue later

After the first Weiter the page Gespeichert. appears with your personal link, a copy button and the expiry date; the same link also reaches you by e-mail. It is valid for seven days, after which you request a new one. Every completed station is stored on the server, so you can switch device at any time. One exception: opening hours that have not been submitted yet stay in the browser until you click Weiter.

Confirmation by code – and how we reach you

You confirm your e-mail address and phone number with short codes, in this order: the phone number by SMS, the e-mail address, a separate login e-mail and, if you entered one, the WhatsApp number. A dialogue then asks how you would like to receive messages about the setup: E-Mail or WhatsApp (Empfohlen) – nothing is preselected. If you stop midway, a message with a Weiter button reminds you after one, three, seven and fourteen days; a STOPP in WhatsApp ends only that channel. Login details, confirmation codes and anything contractual are delivered by e-mail.

Logo, hours and delivery prices

Ihr Logo: upload a file – it is reduced in size and the background is removed – or have one generated. With Ohne Logo weiter you can skip the station – a logo is one of the recommendations, which never hold up the launch; the generation attempts are limited.
Zeiten und Dienste: you choose Abholung, Lieferung or Beides. For each service a weekly table appears with seven days, opening time, closing time and the offen checkbox, plus a second time window for businesses with an afternoon break; more than two windows per day are not provided.
Lieferpreise: one delivery fee and one minimum order value per postcode, for up to 50 postcodes. The fee may be zero, a minimum order value has to be set. Anyone who offers pickup only does not see this station.

Review – and the silent checks

On the Prüfen station everything is on one page; a tap on Ändern takes you back into the matching station and keeps your place in the path. The Kontrolle station then checks your details, and before the order link and the QR code are issued the system checks the start criteria. If something is missing, the screen names the problem, for example delivery without a delivery price, and opens the station responsible.

Consent and build

Before the build you confirm the Vereinbarung zur Auftragsverarbeitung (data processing agreement), because the order data of your guests is processed on your behalf. From this station onwards there is no way back; later changes are made in the administration area. The build then runs automatically, with a counter that counts down; you do not have to wait – we write to you by e-mail as soon as your website is up. The system derives your web address from the restaurant name: lower case, ae/oe/ue/ss, other scripts in Latin letters, at most 63 characters.

Menu: photograph it or type it in

You photograph your menu with the phone or upload files; the reading continues while the screen shows you how far it has got. For the transcription your files are passed to our AI service provider. Alternatively you type the menu into the menu tool yourself. The menu, the allergens and the additives are entered automatically – which is why you confirm the notice with a tick, and with Ich habe die Angaben geprüft you take responsibility for the allergen and additive information on your menu. Start criteria, Startklar and the app

The order link and the QR code are only issued once eight start criteria are met – among them real opening hours instead of the template. Startklar then guides you through six tools (QR code, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, WhatsApp Business) and places each one as a card in a toolbox that stays on the server, together with the card holding your order link. The QR code comes with a print-ready sheet for your tables: QR code for the menu. Finally, on the Bestellungen empfangen station you set up the restaurant app: load the app via QR code, have the login details sent to your e-mail address, sign in.

What still has to be done after the start

Your website is reachable from the very beginning and there is no hard lock – but the duties remain yours. Complete the mandatory details (legal notice, tax mode, alcohol, reusable packaging) until the notice banner in the control centre disappears, and assign a VAT rate to every category: categories without an assigned rate remain untaxed. Who is this worth it for?

For businesses that have to start alongside daily operations: the path consists of short steps, every step is stored on the server, and the personal link brings you back. You need no appointment – a phone, your menu and your business details are enough. The path exists in five languages (German, English, Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish).

How long does the setup take until the first order?

That depends on how quickly you supply the logo, the hours and the menu. The system does the website build; you do not have to wait – we write to you by e-mail as soon as it is up. After that only the start criteria for the order link and the QR code remain.

Do I need a password or payment details to register?

No. The mandatory details of your business are enough to start, you do not set a password, and payment details are not required. The login details for the app and the administration area reach you later by e-mail.

Can I interrupt the setup and continue later?

Yes. Your personal link reopens the setup at the point where you stopped; it is valid for seven days.

When do I get the order link and the QR code?

The order link and the QR code are only issued once eight start criteria are met – for example real opening hours and a filled menu. The list marks every point as erfüllt, offen or gesperrt; a blocked point does not depend on you.

Do I have to type in my menu?

No, you can photograph your menu or upload it as a file; typing it into the menu tool is the alternative. The menu, the allergens and the additives are entered automatically – checking them and answering for them is yours.

Is my restaurant legally complete after the launch?

No. The system carries the mandatory details and displays them to your guests, but the legal notice, the tax mode, the VAT rates per category and the allergen information are checked and answered for by you.
