Accepting, editing & completing an order

What is this? The daily flow of an order – from "new" to "done". For the overview, see Order Centre.

Opening an order

Tap a card. On the right, the detail window opens with dishes and options, any notes from the guest, the customer data, a countdown and the matching action bar. If notes have been deleted by data retention, it shows "No notes (retention expired)".

Accept & confirm time

With "Accept & confirm time" you accept the order. At this moment the previously only estimated time becomes binding for the guest. If automatic printing is active, the receipt is now printed.

Guiding through the steps

An order runs through new → in progress → done. When it is ready, select "Mark as done".

Prepaid orders

If the guest has paid online, the order is already binding – you accept it and complete it. Orders with payment on site first go through the confirmation explained in Confirming cash payment & time limits.
