Offer pickup, delivery or both – with delivery areas that fit your venue exactly. The price calculation runs server-side, fair and transparent.

Deliver, pick up – or both

Choose your service type. For delivery, you define a delivery area – by postal code or by distance. You can also combine the two.

Delivery areas by postal code (PLZ)

Set a delivery fee and a minimum order value per postal code. Larger postal codes can be split into named sub-areas; the guest then selects the matching area. If an address lies outside your delivery area, the delivery is cleanly declined.

Delivery areas by distance

Define zones by distance (e.g. tiers in kilometres), each with its own delivery fee and minimum order value – optionally with a radius as the outer boundary. Free delivery above a certain order value can also be set up.

Estimated arrival time & route

Your guests see an estimated arrival time and – if enabled and with consent – a map showing the route. This is a time-based estimate for orientation; there is no live location tracking of the driver.

Always calculated correctly

The delivery fee, minimum order value and area assignment are determined server-side – regardless of whether the map is shown. This way the guest always sees the correct price, and the order matches your delivery area.

Frequently asked questions

Can I offer pickup and delivery at the same time?

Yes. Under Logistics → Service options you choose pickup, delivery or both; with both, the guest decides in the cart. Pickup times and delivery times are then maintained separately, per weekday with up to two time windows.

How do I define my delivery area – by postal code or by distance?

Both are possible, and the two can also be combined. By postal code you store a delivery fee and a minimum order value for each five-digit postal code; by distance you create tiers in kilometres, each with its own delivery fee and minimum order value, optionally with a maximum delivery radius as the outer boundary. Tiers must not overlap, and at most one tier may stay open without an upper limit – that tier has to be the last one.

Why can I not switch delivery on?

A delivery service type can only be saved once at least one delivery price is stored – by postal code and/or by distance; otherwise you are prompted to create the prices first. If you later delete all postal-code delivery prices and no distance delivery price exists, the service type can automatically revert to pickup.

What happens if a guest orders from outside my delivery area?

The delivery is declined; for a postal code that is not on file the guest sees the note “No delivery price is currently on file for this postal code”. If the cart is below the minimum order value, the system states the shortfall, so the guest knows what is missing.

Can my guests track the driver live on the map?

No. The map with route and estimated arrival time is switched off by default, appears only with the consent of the guest and shows a time-based estimate – there is no live location tracking of the driver. For that reason, please also avoid terms such as “live tracking” in your own communication.

How is the displayed estimated arrival time produced?

An ETA buffer is added to the pure driving time, 30 minutes by default. The starting point is your profile address by default and you can adjust it, and the chosen means of transport (car, motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, on foot) affects distance and route. Check the buffer for your own operation so that the displayed time stays realistic.
