Set preparation times

What is this? The time your kitchen needs until an order is ready. It feeds into the estimated time that guests see. For an overview, see Delivery & Pickup. You maintain it under Logistics → Preparation times.

Setting times

1. Enter the preparation time for pickup and – if you deliver – for delivery.
2. The default value is 20 minutes. Leave it unchanged if it fits.
3. A value that is not sensible (or an old value such as 60/120 minutes) is automatically reset to 20 minutes.

Delivery: preparation ≠ delivery time

For delivery, the preparation time only counts the kitchen time. The travel time is added separately and results from the distance – see Delivery prices by distance.

Good to know

Depending on the service type, only the relevant field can be edited. For payment on site, the displayed time is initially a guideline value and becomes binding as soon as you accept the order (see Confirm cash payment & time limits).
