Show map & route (consent, no live GPS)
What is this? Optionally, you can show guests a map with the route – in the cart and/or in the order history. For an overview, see Delivery & pickup.
Enable maps
- Turn on – as you wish – the map in the cart and/or the map in the order history. Both switches are off by default.
- The map only appears additionally if the guest consents. Without consent it stays hidden.
Important: an estimate, not a live location
The map shows the route and the estimated time of arrival as a time-based estimate for orientation. There is no live location tracking of the driver – the marker on the map moves based on calculation, not on a real GPS signal. Please also avoid terms such as “live tracking” in your communication.
The price is independent of the map
The delivery fee, minimum order value and zone assignment are always calculated on the server – whether the map is shown or not. So the guest always sees the correct price.
