Availability & scheduling (stop sales, "Available from")
What is this? This is how you control whether and when a dish can be ordered. For the overview, see Digital menu & QR menu.
Temporarily stopping a dish
Using "Stop sales" in the edit window, you set a dish to inactive. Guests then see it as "Currently unavailable" (with your reason text, if you have entered one); it cannot be added to the cart. This switch belongs to the management board, which is enabled per restaurant (see Manage dishes).
Available from / scheduling by time
You can set up a schedule for a dish or a category – one-time or weekly. Outside the scheduled time window, guests see "Available from <date>" with a countdown; ordering is only possible from that point in time. Without a rule, a dish is always visible.
Telling the four states apart
| State | Guest sees | How it is set |
|---|---|---|
| Sales stopped | "Currently unavailable" (+ reason) | "Stop sales" in the edit window |
| Time-scheduled | "Available from <date>" + countdown | Schedule on the dish/category |
| In the trash | "Currently unavailable" | Manage dishes |
| Archived | "Removed from the menu" | Manage dishes |
