Enable Online Ordering & Maintenance Mode

What is this? Two switches that let you control whether guests can order online. For an overview, see Online ordering system. You will find them under Settings → Online orders.

Allow orders

• “Allow orders via the website” is on by default. The control centre then shows “Acceptance ON”.
• If you turn it off, the menu stays visible, but the cart and checkout are locked; the display switches to “PAUSED”, and guests are pointed to your contact channels. Dishes can still be added to the cart – only the actual checkout is locked.

Maintenance mode (lock menu & search)

• “Lock access to menu & search (maintenance)” is off by default. When switched on, guests opening the menu/search see a maintenance notice with a reference to WhatsApp/phone. The home page, imprint, and phone and email links remain accessible.

Reopen automatically (optional)

While maintenance mode is on, a field appears for the date and time at which the lock ends automatically. Without an entry, the lock stays until you lift it yourself; a time in the past is flagged as a warning.
