Delivery prices by postal code (PLZ)

What is this? For each postal code you set a delivery fee and a minimum order value. For an overview, see Delivery & Pickup. You maintain this under Logistics → Delivery prices (PLZ).

Order of steps: Set up the PLZ delivery prices before you set the service type to „Delivery“ or „Both“ (see Service type).

Adding a postal code

1. Enter the five-digit postal code, the delivery fee and the minimum order value.
2. Save. Repeat this for every postal code you deliver to.

Splitting larger areas (optional)

You can split a postal code into named sub-areas (e.g. by district). Guests then select the matching area in the shopping cart. This option is available depending on your setup.

This feature is set up differently depending on the restaurant.

Understanding error messages

• A duplicate entry (same postal code and same area) is rejected – adjust the entry accordingly.
• If a guest orders from a postal code that is not on file, they see „No delivery price is currently on file for this postal code“, and delivery is declined.
