Delivery Prices by Distance (Zones, Radius, Free Delivery, ETA)
What is this? Delivery prices that depend on the distance driven. For an overview, see Delivery & Pickup. You manage this under Logistics → Delivery by Distance.
Order of steps: This delivery price, too, must exist before you save a delivery service type (see Service Type).
Starting Point & Mode of Travel
- By default, the starting point is your profile address; you can adjust it.
- Choose the mode of travel (car, motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, on foot) – it affects distance and route.
Creating Zones (Tiers)
Create tiers in kilometres, each with a delivery fee and a minimum order value. Please note:
- The upper limit must be above the lower one, and tiers must not overlap.
- There may be at most one open tier without an upper limit – and it must be the last one.
Radius & Free Delivery (optional)
- With a maximum delivery radius you limit the delivery area; without a radius the tiers define the boundary.
- With free delivery from a minimum order value, the delivery fee is waived above an amount you set.
Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA Buffer)
An ETA buffer (default 30 minutes) is added to the pure driving time, so that the displayed estimated time of arrival stays realistic.
Map & Driver Contact
- Whether a map with route appears in the cart or in the order history is controlled by separate toggles – by default they are off (see Show Map & Route).
- A driver phone number per tier can be stored; guests then see a call link during the delivery window. There is no live location tracking of the driver.
When an Address Is Out of Range
If an address lies outside your delivery area, the delivery is declined (where applicable with a note about the outermost tier). If the cart is below the minimum order value, the system states the shortfall.
