Reading allergens & labels
What is this? On the menu you'll see several notes and labels. Here you'll learn what they mean. For the overview, see How ordering works.
Allergens & additives
Many dishes have a short line with allergens and additives (E numbers). If you deselect an ingredient via “Please without …”, the allergen information is updated accordingly.
Price & tax
incl. VATmeans that value-added tax (MwSt.) is included.- For small businesses, it says “no VAT shown” instead.
- The
base price(Grundpreis, e.g. “(X.XX €/l)”) helps you compare the prices of pre-packaged goods.
Deposit
If a deposit (Pfand) applies, you'll see a separate line plus X.XX € deposit. This line is
not included in the dish price.
Age rating
A badge 16+ or 18+ marks age-restricted
items. Before checkout you confirm your age; you bring the proof with you at handover.
Promotions
For reduced dishes you'll see the crossed-out price and the “lowest price of the last 30 days” – so you can spot the real saving.
“AI” notice on images
An “AI” notice means that the image was created with artificial intelligence (“This illustration was created with artificial intelligence.”). Only images are labelled, not the texts or prices.
