Do I need a separate account for the restaurant app?
No. In the restaurant app you sign in with the same credentials as in the admin panel, so you do not need a separate account. The session is time-limited; after that you simply sign in again.
Do I see the same orders in the app as on the kitchen tablet?
Yes. The restaurant app shows the same orders as the order centre: you see incoming orders in the list, open their details and change their status.
How do I find out about a new order while I am out?
A new order announces itself in the restaurant app with a push notification, even when you are not at the tablet. On the tablet itself you hear the alert sound of the order centre, whose ring mode (once, 20 seconds or continuous) you set on each device separately.
Can I edit my menu in the app?
For quick changes, yes: in the restaurant app you can add a category or a dish while you are out. For larger changes, use the full admin panel in the browser.
Does the app replace the tablet with alert sound and receipt printer?
The restaurant app is made for when you are on the move. Alert sounds, the receipt printer with “Automatisch drucken” and a test print, and “Display wach halten” are set up in the order centre on the tablet or computer where you accept orders. The alert sound settings apply per device and are not transferred.
What does the news area in the app show?
In the news area of the restaurant app you see news from the platform. If needed, a link also opens the full admin panel directly inside the app.
