Stripe Delegation Authorization
This page explains how we can submit Stripe Connect profile data on behalf of a restaurant owner after explicit consent.
Legal basis of delegation
By activating the delegation checkbox in our platform, you grant us an explicit authorization to submit and update certain Stripe Connect profile details in your name.
What we are allowed to submit
- Basic business or individual profile data (name, contact, address).
- Required information to enable online payments in a Stripe Express account.
- Adjustments that you explicitly provide in our delegation form.
- Accepting the Stripe terms of service (including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement) on your behalf, as far as this is required to open and activate the account.
- The ownership and management declarations (e.g. beneficial owners of 25% or more, management board, power of representation) exactly as you provide them in our form.
- The payout details (IBAN and account holder) and your date of birth — section 4 describes how we store them.
Important note about manual steps
Some Stripe requirements can only be completed directly in Stripe for legal or technical reasons. Those cases are tracked internally as manual operations tasks.
Data minimization and audit trail
We do not permanently store sensitive KYC documents in our database. What we do keep is the evidence of the authorization: timestamp, version of the authorization text, the e-mail address of the consenting person together with the source of that address, language, IP address, user agent, and source context. For payouts you provide an IBAN and an account holder name: both are sent to Stripe and stored on our side in encrypted form only, so that you do not have to type them again — we delete them on request. Your date of birth and the remaining form data are sent to Stripe; in our sign-up records they are kept only until the setup is complete and are removed afterwards.
