Website Settings (Map, Postcode Suggestion, Visibility)

What is this? Three optional switches relating to your website. For an overview, see Your own restaurant website. You will find them under Restaurant info → Further website settings. All three are off by default.

Show map & route

Turn on “Show map & route” if you would like to embed a map for directions. The map only appears once your guests have given their consent. More about the map in the order process under Show map & route.

Suggest city from postcode

If “Suggest city from postcode” is active, the matching city can be suggested when a postcode is typed in – in the profile and at checkout for the delivery address. Without this switch, guests enter the city by hand.

Hide from search engines (before launch)

• If you would like to hide your page before launch, turn on “Hide website from search engines”. Your page will then not be listed on Google.
• For the go-live, turn this switch back off so that your guests can find you. This step is deliberately included on the Go-live checklist.

This feature is set up differently depending on the restaurant.
