Quick Import: Photo Scan (OCR) & JSON

What is this? Two fast ways to build a menu instead of typing in each dish individually. For the overview, see Digital Menu & QR Menu.

Photo Scan (OCR)

Open the Photo Scan and photograph a printed menu.
You receive a review and editing sheet: correct names, prices and categories.
Transfer the reviewed dishes into your menu.

Each month you have up to 5 photo scans available.

Select JSON Import and upload a previously exported backup file (see the export under Manage Dishes).
Dishes that already exist are skipped, so duplicates are not created twice.
If the file does not fit, “Invalid JSON file or structure.” appears – then check the file.

In preparation: An automatic menu structuring (AI-supported from PDF/online menu) is prepared but is not yet generally available.
